We are thrilled to welcome back Prof. Bob Khanna as a judge for this year's Northern Ireland Cosmetic Medicine Awards. Prof. Khanna, who runs a prestigious Dental & Facial Aesthetics clinic near London, has had an illustrious career since 1993.
A prolific author and global speaker, Dr. Khanna has contributed extensively to esteemed dental and medical publications and websites. Since 1996, he has been an International Key Opinion Leader for top brands like Merz, Teoxane, Q-med, Allergan, Filorga, and Galderma, significantly advancing the full-face approach in aesthetics.
TV audiences may recognize him from various documentaries, including "Cosmetic Surgery Live" (Channel 5), "The Ruby Wax Show" (BBC One), and "Silicone Chicks" (Discovery Health). His work on "Plastic Surgery Laid Bare" helped launch the award-winning Nip-Tuck series on Sky.
Prof. Khanna's vast experience and expertise will undoubtedly enrich the judging process and inspire practitioners in the field of cosmetic medicine.
We are so excited to announce Miss Balaratnam as one of our prestigious judges for this years CMA's. Miss Balaratnam is a UK-based doctor with over 25 years of experience, including a 7-year background in NHS reconstructive plastic surgery, and she has specialised in aesthetic medicine for the past 14 years. Practising from her award-winning S-Thetics clinic in Buckinghamshire, she combines her expertise in anatomy, scar management, and skin health to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred rejuvenation plans using the latest products and technology. In 2022, she was honoured as ‘Medical Aesthetic Practitioner of the Year’ at the Aesthetics Awards, an accolade recognising her as the top aesthetic doctor in the UK, with her clinic also winning ‘Best Clinic South England’ for the second time. Named in Tatler's ‘Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guide’ as one of the UK’s top doctors for injectable and regenerative treatments, she is a leader in her field and co-authored the botulinum toxins chapter in the Oxford Textbook of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In 2023, BTL Aesthetics appointed her as a Global Key Opinion Leader, the first non-US doctor to join their exclusive panel. We are delighted to welcome back Dr. Dalvi Humzah as a judge for the Northern Ireland Cosmetic Medicine Awards. With over 18 years of experience, Dr. Humzah is a highly accomplished Consultant Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon, skilled in both surgical and non-surgical procedures.
His impressive credentials include a BSc in Anatomy and an MBA, along with full registration with the General Medical Council and a Specialist Register listing for Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Humzah is renowned for his dedication to education and training, making him a prominent figure nationally and internationally. With over 25 years of experience in non-surgical treatments and managing complications, he is a trusted expert in the industry.

Presenting Sharon Bennett RGN, NIP, PG Dip, an exceptional judge for the NI Cosmetic Medicine Awards. With an illustrious background in Aesthetic Medicine, Sharon has made significant contributions to the field. Her accomplishments include co-authoring and publishing The BACN/Royal College of Nursing aesthetic nursing competencies, a comprehensive guide encompassing various treatment modalities in this area of medicine. As a country trainer for a large Global manufacturer in the Aesthetic division, Sharon plays a vital role in advancing industry knowledge and training, ensuring practitioners are equipped with the latest insights and techniques. Her dedication to excellence and passion for elevating Aesthetic Medicine make her an invaluable judge, for this years Northern Ireland Cosmetic Medicine Awards
A pioneer in the field, Amanda Cameron spent more than three decades working in the medical aesthetics sector in the UK and Europe. She began as a nurse and advanced to become the UK's top nurse injector trainer for dermal fillers. Later, after earning an MBA, she branched out into sales, marketing, and management. Notably, she brought Sculptra to Europe and worked with Collagen Corporation to launch dermal fillers on the market. Amanda's influence was seen throughout the industry as she held senior positions in illustrious businesses and managed new companies' European operations. She organised the first Aesthetic Awards and helped to create the clinical schedule for the ACE conference as the previous consultant editor of the Aesthetics Journal. She co-founded 5 Squirrels Ltd in 2014, and she left the organisation in 2021. Presently, Amanda is humbled and honoured to host the second NI Cosmetic Medicine Awards. She recognises the work that goes into planning such an event and recognises its importance to all of the participants. She is looking forward to the December 2nd celebration with the winners and runners-up.
Aine Larkin, winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the inaugural Northern Ireland Cosmetic Medicine Awards, is a pioneering figure in the field. As clinical director of two award-winning clinics in Northern Ireland, she leads a team of 23 dedicated staff members, committed to elevating education and training standards for enhanced patient safety and public protection.
A passionate brand ambassador for a Global Pharma Company, Aine mentors medical and healthcare practitioners in both basic and advanced injectables, including prescribing qualifications.
Beyond her clinics, Aine is a technical expert advisor for an OFQUAL awarding body, involved in internal verification and external quality assurance. She serves as a regional lead nurse for the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and is a full member of the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP).

Lisa entered the world of aesthetic medicine in 2016 after nearly two decades in nursing. She is currently Clinical Director at FacetherapyNI Ltd and Nurse Educator at FacetherapyNI Academy Ltd, specialising in clinical aesthetics. Lisa holds a BSc in Nursing Sciences from Queen’s University Belfast, a PG Dip in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, a PGCE as a qualified nurse teacher, and a Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetics (PGDip Aes with MAP IQ).
As a Nurse Independent Prescriber and MINT National Expert Trainer for the UK and Ireland, she maintains dual registration with the NMC and NMBI. Lisa is also a faculty member at Galderma and founder of the AList NI, dedicated to promoting excellence in aesthetic practices across Northern and Southern Ireland through global education.
